Chairman Giles Cooper said yesterday,
"Thank you to all our many supporters for their assistance and help during 2019; it was a fantastic year for the Royal Variety Charity.
We began the long-awaited refurbishment of Brinsworth House and have now completed the modernised kitchen and dining room, which looks stunning. There is much more work to be done, but what a start! Our many residents continue to enjoy life to the full in a home that radiates love and care and as we expand our assistance and support across the UK even further, we have much to look forward to as we enter 2020.
The 2019 Royal Variety Performance, attended by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, was also a tremendous success for the charity, with a fabulous show and raising much-needed funds. As we plan our shows for 2020 and beyond, the future for the charity and indeed those in-need within the entertainment business, looks brighter than ever. Thank you again and I wish all our supporters a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year."
