We are thrilled that for the second year, our incredible Events-Coordinator Angelica Lundekesi, and Peter Hinton, our talented Operations Manager, will be fundraising for the Royal Variety Charity by running #TheBigHalf on Sunday 7th September.
This time, they will be joined by Clare Yarwood-White, daughter of our former and much-loved #BrinsworthHouse resident the late Mike Yarwood OBE, and Martin Jones, a dedicated member of our Executive Committee.
The route takes in four London boroughs and commences at Tower Bridge in Tower Hamlets then winds its way through Southwark and Lewisham before finishing by the Cutty Sark in Greenwich.
Last year's donations, which were all gratefully received, enabled the Royal Variety Charity to update some equipment at Brinsworth House, such as our new 'Computer on Wheels' or 'COW'!
This is used daily by our nursing team as they undertake their clinical medical rounds.
