On Tuesday 19th October, the Royal Variety Charity planted a Cherry tree on the front lawn of its care home for elderly entertainers, Brinsworth House, in support of Her Majesty The Queen’s Green Canopy initiative and in celebration of her forthcoming Jubilee.
The planting ceremony was attended by Brinsworth House residents Richard O’Sullivan and Mike Yarwood, Chairman and Vice-Chairman Giles Cooper and Phil Dale, Britain’s Got Talent Winner Jon Courtenay, Executive Committee Member Kay Carman, Head of PR David Pogson and Operations Manager Peter Hinton.
